KOSTOLNÉ KRAČANY OBECNÉ DNI 2023 & TOWN TWINNING
Podujatie realizované v rámci projektu Promoting the Value of Diversity via Town Twinning (101091201, Value of Diversity) spolufinancované Európskou Úniou prostredníctvom programu Občania, rovnosť, práva a hodnoty (CERV-2022-CITIZENS-TOWN-TT) sa uskutočnilo počas letného víkendu v dňoch 16. – 18. júna 2023.
Po ubytovaní delegácií z partnerských miest Rábapatona (HU), Karcsa (HU), Comuna Sancraiu (RO) a Stara Moravica (SRB) nastalo slávnostné zahájenie udalosti sprevádzané príhovorom starostu o význame samotnej udalosti a vzájomných vzťahoch medzi zúčastnenými obcami. Starosta priblížil verejnosti význam pozitívnych partnerských vzťahov, ako aj úlohu podujatia v snahe o posilnenie európskej identity občanov.
Príhovor bol nasledovaný svätou omšou v miestnom kostole, posväcovaním sôch v jej areáli a kladením vencov. Zúčastnení partneri predstavili svoju obec a aktivity, a navzájom si vymenili informačné brožúry- Zakončenie dňa sa nieslo v duchu spoločnej večere a kultúrneho programu spojeného s ochutnávkou vína, počas ktorej pokračovala diskusia ohľadom vzájomných partnerstiev, aktuálnej situácie v EÚ a možností na zlepšenie.
Druhý deň udalosti bol zahájený spoločným obedom, kde zúčastnené obce prezentovali svoje úspechy a problémy v priateľskom prostredí. Nasledovalo umiestnenie pamätnej plakety (Bartal) pred obecným domom, a po zostavení informačného pultu Europe Direct na miestnom futbalovom ihrisku sa konal workshop adresujúci nasledovné tematické oblasti:
"Osvedčené projektové postupy, úspechy a skúsenosti partnerských obcí“
"Čo sme dosiahli a kam smerujeme?
"Čo môžeme urobiť pre posilnenie pocitu spolupatričnosti s EÚ?"
"Budúce vízie pre spoločnú Európu"
Podujatie pokračovalo pestrým kultúrnym programom od 15 hodiny. Vystupovali folklórne skupiny (Alsó Pintő, ľudové piesne zo Starej Moravice, Felszeg Gyöngye zo Sancraiu), a rôzne hudobné (Áron Bergendi, László Attila, TNT, Fenyő Miklós, Retrock Party Band and DJ Newik) a tanečné zoskupenia (Kán-Kán z obce Karcsa, brušné tanečnice z obce Rábapatona). Program pre deti bol obohatený skákacím hradom a ďalšími atrakciami.
Posledný deň udalosti zahŕňal prechádzku po okolí a spoločný obed, po ktorom v rámci voľnej diskusie došlo k vyhodnoteniu podujatia, poskytnutiu spätnej väzby a výmene skúseností.
Aktivity počas celej udalosti prispeli k upevňovaniu vzťahov medzi partnerskými obcami a taktiež ku kultúrnemu a spoločenskému vyžitiu verejnosti. Účastníci boli bližšie oboznámení s hodnotami EÚ ako aj s tým, ako sa tie odzrkadľujú v každodennom živote.

KOSTOLNÉ KRAČANY MUNICIPALITY DAY 2023 & TOWN TWINNING
The event implemented within the framework of the Promoting the Value of Diversity via Town Twinning (101091201, Value of Diversity) project co-funded by the European Union through the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV-2022-CITIZENS-TOWN-TT), took place during a summer weekend from the 16th to the 18th of June, 2023.
After accommodating the delegations from the partner municipalities of Rábapatona (HU), Karcsa (HU), Comuna Sancraiu (RO) and Stara Moravica (SRB), the opening ceremony of the event took place, followed by a speech of the local mayor addressing the importance of the event itself and mutual relations between the participating municipalities. The mayor has touched upon the importance of positive partnerships, and described to the citizens the role of the event within the effort of strengthening the feeling of belonging to the EU.
The speech was followed by a Holy Mass in the church, the consecration of statues in its premises and laying wreaths at the mentioned monuments. The participating partners presented their municipality and activities, and exchanged information brochures. The day ended with a joint dinner and a cultural programme accompanied by wine tasting, during which the discussion regarding mutual partnerships, the current situation in the EU and opportunities for its improvement continued.
The second day of the event started with a joint lunch where the participating municipalities presented their achievements and challenges in a friendly environment. This was followed by the placement of a commemorative plaque (Bartal) at the municipal house, and after setting up a Europe Direct information desk at the local football pitch, a workshop addressing the following thematic areas took place:
"Good project practices, success stories and experiences of partner municipalities".
"What have we achieved and where are we going?
"What can we do to strengthen our sense of belonging to the EU?"
"Future visions for a common Europe"
The event continued with a varied cultural programme from 3 pm. Folklore groups (Alsó Pintő, folk songs from Stara Moravica, Felszeg Gyöngye from Sancraiu), different music (Áron Bergendi, László Attila, TNT, Fenyő Miklós, Retrock Party Band and DJ Newik) and dance groups (Kán-Kán from Karcsa, Belly dancers from Rábapatona) performed. The children's programme was enriched with a bouncy castle and other attractions.
The last day of the event started with a walk around the area and a joint lunch, followed by an open discussion aimed at evaluating the event, providing feedback and exchanging experiences.
The activities throughout the event contributed to strengthening relations between the partner municipalities, as well as to the cultural and social life of the public. Participants got more acquainted with EU and their reflection in everyday life.
